Human Resources Manager
HIT Web Design is an industry leader in custom web design and hosting.
We are currently seeking an HR Manager to supervise and manage our Human
Resources Department for our Provo office with 200+ employees on site and 400+
telecommuting independent contractors. This position will provide daily HR
generalist support for our corporate operations.
Responsibilities:
- Respond to employee inquires regarding benefits and company policies and procedures
- Conduct and prepare documentation for exit interviews
- Advises management in resolution of employee issues including progressive discipline as necessary
- Advises management in best practices and compliance federal and state employment laws.
- Implement HR programs including all benefit programs performance reviews
- Responsible for benefit programs including medical, dental, life, supplement plans, H.S.A. plans
- Coordinate with benefits providers
- Responsible for background check and drug testing programs
- Coordinate with trainer on new employee orientation
- Coordinate/supervise recruiting new hires and independent contractors
- Plan and coordinate company events
Qualifications:
- BA/BS degree or equivalent experience required
- Min 4+ years of prior HR experience
- Knowledge of federal and state employment laws
- Attention to detail and ability to multi task and succeed in a fast pace environment
- Ability to meet project deadlines
- Ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism and confidentiality
- Excellent customer service and telephone skills
- Excellent problem solving skills and leadership skills
- Superior PC skills and experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
- Previous HR management experience preferred
Position is Full Time M-F 8:30-5:00.
Compensation is commensurate with experience.
